Interesting effort but the problem with aircraft this size for firefighting is agility, especially over an inferno which will have important ascendant and unpredictable currents due to the heat. DC-10s are also being used but not extensively.

I believe it's like any other large aircraft -- converts fuel to noise, after you back up the money truck to the fuel seller's establishment.
