I'm selling a some stuff on another forum, the buyer bought from me last year but says their Paypal is playing up and can only do bank transfer. PP is my preferred payment option and I've never given my bank details to a stranger. How safe is bank transfer? |

Only as safe as your resolution to wait until the transfer has fully posted to your account. Make sure it is an "incomming wire" and not a check or cashier's check. Sit on it until it has fully posted to your account and your bank tells you the wire is complete. You lose the "seller protection" of paypal but we have learned here how illusory that can be. |
