Clips of the all time classic MKII....

The first clip is from Rallies around Ireland where the mkII is very popular. They are more entertaining then WRC cars that are also in the field. A well driven mk II can out pace most stuff.

The sound the mkII's make is something else!

It was fun and easy car to drive. And fast, sometimes too fast. And that rear wheel drive made it two times funnier, sliding through corners sideways, not the fastest way to go but :D.

the level of car control in some of those is impressive - as is the stupidity level of some of the spectators!

That was the good ol' days when the pilot mattered more than the car. There also was a little bit of competition. Now, it's Citroën, Citroën, Citroën, Ford, Citroën, Citroën, Citroën...

And you're wrong breanach, that is not "sound", it's sheer melody.
