Sad news. One, you rarely have symptoms until it's too late and two, you can't remove it since you can't live without it. Sucks for his family, friends, and supporters. I think it was Bill Maher who said the only way to save the U.S. economy was to make Jobs Emperor. |

we all knew it would happen soon, he has outlived most with a similar diagnosis. still, was not the type of news you hope for when you wake up in the morning. a true visionary has left. the wonders of the iWorld: just stumbled upon a commentary from a rather surprising source, a rabbi´s take about the impact Steve had. Interesting read and relevant thoughts. http://www.chabad.org/blogs/blog_cdo/ai ... -World.htm |

I would like to say a few word about steve jobs. I would like to commemorate the life of Steve Jobs on of the most influential people of the 21 century. who has changed the world with his innovating idea's. It is a sad loss for us all. He has not just changed the country he has changed the world with the modern technology and ideas. On behalf of the world I would like to say thank you and let us never forget how you have changed the nation. |

Interesting read and relevant thoughts. http://www.chabad.org/blogs/blog_cdo/ai ... -World.htm that was interesting and brought a compelling perspective. Regarding the reference to Jobs going to Xerox PARC and seeing the GUI (and the mouse was born there, too) - if you have any interest, read : Dealers of Lightning: Xerox PARC and the Dawn of the Computer Age http://www.amazon.com/Dealers-Lightning-Xerox-PARC-Computer/dp/0887309895#_ fascinating story of how Xerox invented a lot of what we are using today, and let it slip through their fingers. |
