Anyone have experience with these speakers? Reviews seem very encouraging and the price is great for this level of performance. http://www.aperionaudio.com/product/Int ... 1,283.aspx Only downside is that since they do not have retail outlets I have to pay for shipping them around the globe ![]() |

I've heard good things about the Aperion's, but personally do not like a set of speakers I cannot audition. What kind of music are you listening to? Or is this for a strictly home theatre set up? |

As a long-time Linn Products & Naim Audio fan, I'd NEVER buy audio equipment I couldn't listen too first, preferable in my home. would you buy a watch you couldn't see first? would you buy a car you couldn't drive first ? etc etc when choosing audio gear....listen, listen then listen again!, esp if planning a big investment |

I agree with both of you, HOWEVER, they do not consider any sale complete until thirty days have gone by. What they call a 30 day in home audition. And they offer to ship both ways free of charge. Very tempting. I have decided on a PT AE2000 as my 1080P projector and a pioneer Elite as my AV receiver, and might just go with these, if I like them, great. If not Ill just ship them back. Admin, these will be mainly for home theater. I do listen to allot of classical music and some local tunes that you would not be familiar with. Primarily Fairouz and Um Kulthoum. Also into Jazz and occasionally some Rock. Will let you guys know what I think. |

I should say my first set of speakers were a 5.1 set of Sony pieces of s$%^, when I decided that I should go pro I had bought into the hype and just got the top of the line Bose. I was actually happy with them until I heard a friends Yamaha speakers which were half the price and much better ![]() God I can't believe what a chump I was buying Bose. Never again. |

One more thing, do you guys think I should get the dipole/bipole speakers or just the regular direct speakers. I keep hearing "experts" on both sides but can't make up my mind. |
