Just a quick heads up that there is a new phishing scam targeting PayPal users.
You'll receive a message in your normal inbox, purportedly from PayPal, titled 'Account Status - Limited'. The message starts with "Your Account is Limited - Take Action"
It goes on to say:
"Dear Customer,
You may have noticed that some limitations have been placed on your PayPal account. As a valued PayPal customer, we want to let you know what this means and how to resolve the situation....."
Don't worry, it's a 'phishing scam' - the giveaway is the 'Dear Customer' bit - PayPal will always use your name.
This scam is to try and get you to provide details of your account.
DO NOT click any links in the message!
Instead, just forward the e-mail to 'spoof@paypal.com' - they'll confirm it's a scam.
If you're in any doubt, open a new browser window, and access your PayPal account as normal - there won't be any 'restrictions'.
