Post subject:  Paypal Question

I am really new to all this online deals and I have couple questions maybe you can help me answer.

I am trying to buy a watch from ebay and I am going to pay with paypal through my bank account.
Are there any types of fees that I would be charged as a buyer?

For instance, would paypal charge me for the transaction?
or would my bank charge me for transferring money through paypal? (My bank account is with Wells Fargo by the way.)

I have bought some stuff through ebay and paid with paypal in the past but I have never bought anything as expensive as breitling watches
so I wanted to make sure that I know what I am doing and try not to get shocked by being charged with ridiculous amount of fees later...

Thanks! :P

p.s Forgive me if the way I wrote my questions are bit weird...My English may be little bit off cause I'm a foreigner...

Assuming no currency exchange is involved.

PayPal reams you on exchange rates.

Honestly stay away from ebay on buying watches, There are plenty of online trusted sellers you can pay with your cc card or wire. Ebay sucks, and might I add Paypal sucks!!!!!

No fees for you, but its advisable to pay with your credit card through paypal instead of through your bank account. Paypal has some protective measures to protect you from fraud, but they have the tendency to be a bunch of umm...idiots.. Its best to have the protection of your credit card in case you need it.

You got that right! A while back I sent a couple grand USD back to my bank account and it cost me a crazy amount to do it, but I figured our dollar is stronger, what can you do. Then about three days after it had entered my account I decided to buy a watch and sent the same money back to my Paypal balance and paid about 50% of the cost, again! I was thinking WTF, how can they nail someone on the exchange both ways, but they did!
