The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Admin started this site just over 4 1/2 years ago. Driver8 and I joined just over 4 years ago when there were fewer than 180 members. On the weekend we rolled over 30,000 topics, and in the next day or so we are going to hit 10,000 members. In the not too distant future we will hit a quarter of a million posts.

I am continually blown away with the way that this site has taken off and I can't begin to imagine what the site will be like in a nother 4 1/2 years. There have been a lot of memorable moments here and it's been a heck of a ride - as we notch up some of the more significant milestones I just wanted to publicly acknowledge and thank admin for having the vision to recognise that this site was needed, for providing so much content in the main part of the site, for keeping the blog so alive, and of course for giving us this community.

He sure as heck isn't making any money from it, but he's created a site that all of us would have a tough time doing without now.

I need to post more, damn near 3 years ,and I hardly have any posts. This has been a great place to be at , Hell it must be a great place if Archie likes it, apparently its the only site he's not banned from.

I also want to add my thanks to the Admin of this wonderful site and extend my thanks to our two mods who spent so much of their time to keep this site going.

I only joined in early 2010 and, as Roff said, what a ride it has been, with up and downs, with great moments and with less glorious ones.

I firstly joined (probably as many of us here) because of my love to Breitling and BreitlingSource was one of the first sites that came up on Google when I was looking some precise info after I had bought my B01. I remember that the first thread that I visited was "Breitling Ambassadors". It soon became apparent that not only the information provided here was very large but much more precise and correct than what is found elsewhere. And as most of us now know, BS is much more advanced on Breitling info than the official site itself. I instantly found the site to be so fluid that it was a pleasure to browse through it. I hesitated no more before joining.

Needless to say that I have now become addicted to BS because BS is not only about Breitling or watches. Its broad member base allows fellow members to ask questions on just about everything with the assurance to have an answer literally within minutes.

Truth is I have learned a lot on BS and keep learning every day. A day without BS is not a complete day.

So, Admin for one of the best sites on the web.

So true!!!! Breitling Source is the most comprehensive site related to Breitling. However, one of the most impressive things about the source is the diversity and knowledge of the member base on any number of matters. Current events, financial, sporting events, etc. I come to Breitlting Source for the insight into all sorts of topics.

Thank you Admin, Mods, Sponsors, and Facilitator! Been here almost daily since I joined, and sincerely appreciate what all of you have done to this wonderful place!

I like that theres no pretentiousness here. We like Breitling, but we also know where they stand in relation to other brands. We dont defend it to the death and crap on every other brand like most of the other forums do.

To go one step further on pretentiousness, it is really nice that there is respect from everyone to everyone, from the guy that has 5 Breitlings, 2 Breguets, 3 Rolexes etc. to the guy with a single casio. This place has taught me so much and has turned a small hobby into a passion. Thanks to all.
