And recently there have been a lot of posts by them.

Yesterday one suggested that I use the control panel to blank his posts. Does the panel think this is a good thing to do? Does his stupidity go away just because I no longer see it, or, should I continue to challenge it?

Hmmmm that's a very cerebral question you pose there. It's like the old, "If a tree falls down in a forest and no-one hears it, does it make a sound?" question.

I believe that a number of members successfully use the Foe option in their control panels and are therefore able to live their on-forum lives in blissful ignorance of the posts made by other members that they haven't quite...., er......., "gelled with".

Whether you use it or not depends on whether your blood pressure can take it if you don't!

(Tough luck if you want to block Roff, Admin or me, coz you can't. So there. :nana:  )

I don't quite understand what you're complaining about.

I do not use the Friend or Foe option, I really do not see the utility. Whether others use it against me I'm not aware of though. :)

If you do not want to see some posts, why be on the (any) Forum at all? How can you respond correctly? It's beyond me but then again, it's just me.

I think it's anyone's right to challenge anything they read on this or any forum. I do not personally believe in the "Foe" option...

Alan, oh dear master of the non sequitur !

we need you to read all posts and be a voice of reason (even single words count) when the fools threaten to gain the upper hand.

watching the watchers is actually quite easy here, as imho they are doing a great job; watching the fools, on the other hand ....

@nr123: why would you think he was referring to you ?

and yes, this still is - by far - the best WIS forum I know, mods & members.

Good to see you wf, you know of course that my sig is often misconstrued.

By my actions I always watch the watchmen....on occasion the guardsmen..

Not that that is required here thank goodness
