Any range fans in our midst? I have a Glock 21, and go shooting about twice per month. I can't be the only one......?

I have a Sig 229, and a SA 1911 but I haven't been to the range in a while. The one I used to go to got bought by someone and now it pretty much sucks. I need to find a new one.

Don't talk about shooting... makes me depressed... :(

About 5-6 years back caught the firearm bug real bad, had a

1) HK USP FS 9MM
2) Beretta 92 Compact
3) Franchi 612 Semi-Auto Security model with 18in barrel
4) Mossberg 590 Mil-Spec with Ghost Ring Sights
5) Romanian AK Semi-Auto Clone SA-2000
6) Bushmaster AR-15 lower receiver mated to a DPMS 16in bull barrel upper with Harris bipod and Nikon glass

One day my brother calls me from home while I'm out, and asks me if I went shooting today... I say nope... he says the guns are all gone... stolen... every single one of them...

filed a police report, never got any word on any of them ever again... pretty dumb of me at a young age to not invest in a gun safe... ever since then haven't looked back... and now I've settled down with this watch hobby...

but I'm itching for maybe one handgun... just one... Glock 23 anyone? :D

Yeah... come to think of it, I think it's been longer than six years... I would've picked up everything before the California ban in 99'? so yeah maybe more like eight to ten years... it's been too long...

Still miss going and popping off a few rounds every week... but now that ammunition prices are through the roof and you really can't buy anything worth buying in California it's kinda become slim pickins'...

used to love the clay shooting with the shotguns at the outdoor range I used to go to... super fun! PULL!

I was about to ask how the hell you got a hold of all of those legally. Where were they stolen from?

"So wow, man, can I have some of your money, dude, I'm hungry."

"No! F### off."

"Give me your wallet, man, or I'll shoot."

"You don't have gun."

Cali is a trade off. We have 70 degree winters, great restaurants, endless hot chicks, and 10 AM NFL kickoffs. So nice.

But we also have tax loving democrats and inadequate infrastructure. We have a governor so stupid, he tried to pass a law to collect sales tax from online retailers.....which caused all the big retailers to end all partnerships with California vendors, suppliers, etc. Gun laws are tough too.

Worth it though.

Don't forget 18th Street and MS13...

But KidVegas has put it best in so many words... I remember the ban during that time in California... you would have thought Skynet and the machines were taking over... people were picking up high capacity magazines and AR lowers by the boatload before the ban took effect.
