Panathinaïkos BC is again the king of Europe. The Greens beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 78-70 at the final this afternoon at Barcelona.
It's its 6th crown, the third in the last 5 years. Interestingly, the Greens won their cups during the odd years.
Dimitris Diamantidis was the MVP (something exceptional for a guard and something that only Michael Jordan had achieved so far) of the final 4 with Mike Batist and Romain Sato, two other players from Panathinaîkos, joining Diamantidis in the All-star team.
