Incidentally, it has been suggested that those self payment machines can magnetise your watch because of the magnets in them. I only have anecdotal evidence, but.......

Tried to shop today and pay at one of those self swipe things. 'Do you have your own bag' well I did and it said put it on the weigh station. Good lad me....it then told me that the bag was 'incorrect weight' how the tom doodles could it be the incorrect weight for it's weight? I spent all afternoon consoling the bag.... |

I've gotten in quite heated arguments with the self-checkout machines. I'm sure that speaks more poorly of me than it does them. |
