I'm a few years behind the technology curve and just got my first ipod the other day. Actually, I just got my first home computer a few months ago. I was going to load my old CD's on the ipod, when I realized that I am tired of all of them. I'll log on to itunes to search for new music, but usually just draw a blank.

So, what are you guys listening to? I'm open to anything, just trying to find something new.

There was a similar thread recently - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=24846

As I type this Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime is playing in my office and The Frozen Tears of Angels by Rhapsody of Fire is teed up next. On my iPod commuting in this morning it was Def Leppard.

Some recent stuff that I've added:

Grateful Dead - Ripple

Easy Star All Stars, Dub Side of the Moon. They do a reggae version of Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon. I love it.

The White Stripes - Icky thump

Catherine Wheel

Matisyahu - Live at Stubb's

Matakka - Portokal. I don't understand what they are saying, but it rocks.

Mungo Jerry - Summertime

Fugazi - Suggestion and Waiting Room

Paul Simon - Kodachrome

At this very moment, nothing. Just a few minutes ago, it was Mozart Symphony 25, Berlin Philharmonic, Claudio Abbado conducting.

Which one? If we're talking Beethoven with Berlin, Karajan made three recordings. (Sorry - major Classical geek here.)

Eddie Grant: Electric Ave.

Just downloaded to the ipod. I remember when my uncle used to play this song all the time on 8track when I was little. We thought it was so cool.

I'm impressed Jackson.

It's the 1962 recording (Deutsche Grammophon), but I think that Karajan never liked the 6th very much.
