Looking to purchase a pressure washer for around the house for cleaning paths etc and also washing the car.

Would like something new and would spend around £100-£200, any recommendations?

Cheers

B&Q any brand and dont go more the 150 because it WILL break! And usually just out of warranty! Last one was 450 euro Karcher and same story..... So cheap for me any more.... Even lidl or aldi would do they offer a 3 year no questions warranty, even the top brands can' t or won't do that.

I've always used Karcher and only bought when on sale. Never had a problem with them.

Don't know what they sell for in your parts though. Also depends on size and pressure required.

I'm sure the Karcher won't have any problems.

Then again, it may depend on the number of cars

Which model did you get? Let me know how you get on with it too. Cars and paths for me too, the joys of being in your first house with the winter we've had, lots of cleaning needed!

I did a bit of homework yesterday and that was one of the two I was thinking about the other was this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Karcher-K5-55-D ... 78&sr=8-16

Both look like great deals!

Cheers again!

Ya here to many happy hours cleaning you new place... and more so to enjoying it when it all done..

Just one thing be mindful that. with Amazon, you are not purchasing from a physical store where it can be returned or repaired, It a bulky item for delivery and if it has to be returned for what ever reason it might be hassle to do so..... but here's hoping you will never have that problem.

I'm a time served electrician of nearly 20 years so I should be fine when/if it comes to repairs! :D

I would stick to the pressure washers with gasoline engine. I have never seen an electric one worth its weight and have owned a couple.

This is the one I currently have.

Although, I do not expect it to last forever.
