Here is an email I just got. No Idea how it got by my spam filter. It cntained a link claiming to be "Verified By Visa" that asks for not just all card info, name, and adress, but also SSN and your security answer. Wouldn't take them long to wipe you out.

We determine that your card is not securised . For your protection, we've suspended your credit card. To lift the suspension,

and follow the instructions indicate to update your credit card.
Notice : If you fail this procedure before March 16, 2011, we will be forced to suspend your card indefinitely, because of the risk which can contain

Gee, I never get them with my gmail spam filter. Those Google guys are tough. :wink:

Yep, the ones I get are caught by gmail's spam filter.

I know quite a few of the gmail guys. Good people.

Yeah my gmail is pretty rock solid with catching the spam. This phish is just preposterous though lol..

I don't see the scam sharky. I'd get right on that as your card is really no where near securised enough. You'd better get it securitidated really soon, because of the risk. Hurry up! You only have til March 16th or your entire credit histority will be erasedized!!!!!!!







If anyone has ever fallen for one of these scams I would be f***king amazed. You would have to be a zombie to not notice something was up with this crap.

Im with you on this, but I can see how somebody new to the country who probably doesnt speak English as a first language, might be fooled by something like this.
