Today I banned yet another spammer when I logged in this morning, but while most spammers are just a minor annoyance to be removed, this particular one really wound me up by stooping to such a vile level to peddle their tat.

This "person" (and I use term in the loosest possible sense) posted their spam in two threads that happened to mention cancer, and then put their spam link next to a caption that said 'Cancer Tips'.

Words fail me how someone could stoop so low as to use a reference to this hideous disease in an attempt to get people to click a link to their site.

I know for a fact that more than one member here has experience of what an appalling disease cancer is, so for this scum (and there's no other word for them) to attempt to play on this fact to peddle whatever junk it is they are selling is utterly disgusting.

Truly the lowest of the low.

A credit to this site that such things are gone before I've even seen them.

Yeah, it just shows just how sick some people are.

No family or community is immune from this horrible disease, and unfortunately the BreitlingSource community is no different. It's a sad reflection on how twisted humans can be that they are prepared to exploit the most horrid circumstances for their own selfish gain.

Good job banning him quick Driver8, there do seem to have been a lot of spammers lately, and I'm watching another one that I expect to update their signature pretty soon. I guess that it's an inevitable consequence of our success.

Good work D8.

My father was taken by this horrible disease and there's no telling what I'd do if I met a person who was willing to exploit the sufferers of cancer.

Thats pretty sick. I make fun of people and joke at every chance I get, but cancer is one thing I find absolutely zero humor in.

:yeahthat

I've lost quite a few members of my family to that horrible disease, so ZERO tolerance for people like that.

Actually, it would be nice to see how they would react if they were personally contaminated with it

I lost my best mate to cancer when he was only 39.

Well done D8.
