Hi guys this is not for me but for Valinfrace,does anyone know a site that can spot Louis Vuitton fakes before I waste lots of hard earned and time.Dont want to get burned on a bag,this is not one of the many fake bags Ive seen but a nice vanity case but they are as expensive as watches so I need to be carefull,thanks for any help

Why not go and buy one from an LV store? Most half decent size cities have them. If they don't stock them they can be ordered in I'm sure.

LV are grossly overpriced, IMO. Second-hand (reliable, authentic second-hand) is definitely the way to go. A lot of people also appreciate the vintage aspect, too.

Unfortunately LV is one of the many brands that are copied all too often. I've seen many fakes but can't say specifics because some of them are so well made... some brands for instance Chanel have serials with hologram stickers placed inconspicuously inside their products but AFAIK LV does not employ such marks/characteristics.

I do know though that authentic LV tends to "age" better than regular fakes. The fakes, no matter how well it's made, tends to fall apart after awhile.

Good fake LV is scarry good.

Authentic LV uses specific mfr for the zipper hardware (depends on year made), has date code embossed on the inside lining (in the right place, with the right code for the year model), only one "made in france" in the entire bag, has round "o" (instead of elongated), impeccable stitching n piping, and exactly symmetrical pattern per surface area (the prints are NOT from a large sheet randomly cut. The murakami cherries could be randomly placed, but the backgrnd LV would still be symmetrical). But the best indicator is a receipt, which most LV buyers know to keep...

I don't know where you can find this but I stumbled across this looking for something similar and this sounds super cute. Can you please post if you did ever find an LV vanity? I would love to find one for kind of cheap and I have been looking around for other brands too. I will post if I find anything as well.
