Thunderball is a great movie, I always thought that the Geiger counter looked like a DOXA, pretty cool it's a Breitling.

I think my favorite is Goldfinger though, Pussy Galore, c'mon she was awesome. Plus it has one of the best lines in a Bond film, "No Mr. Bond. I expect you to die."

It also has what is arguably one of the most unsung lines in a Bond film, said in typical Connery fashion: "You're a woman of many parts, Pussy."

This needs to be read in a low, rough and broken voice to get the full effect. Any takers on Film and actor?

Women! What can you say? Who made 'em? God must have been a f****n' genius. The hair... They say the hair is everything, you know. Have you ever buried your nose in a mountain of curls... just wanted to go to sleep forever? Or lips... and when they touched, yours were like... that first swallow of wine... after you just crossed the desert. Tits. HOO-AAH! Big ones, little ones, nipples staring right out at ya, like secret searchlights. And legs. I don't care if they're Greek columns... or secondhand Steinways. What's between 'em... passport to heaven.
...I need a drink

It's all right, Charlie. You break my heart, son. All my life I've stood up to everyone and everything, because it made me feel *important*. You do it... because you mean it. You've got integrity, Charlie. I don't know whether to shoot you or adopt ya?

Do I win the "Oh, I know, I know!" award if I answer Pacino, Scent of a Woman?

A friend of mine was in that movie, and is in the credits, but doesn't appear in ONE frame of the final released movie - he was the cab driver - was supposed to be a fairly major character, but ended up on the cutting room floor

Alan Garner: Hey guys, when's the next Haley's comet?
Phil Wenneck: Who cares, man.
Alan Garner: Do you know Stu?
Stu Price: I don't think it's for like another sixty years or something.
Alan Garner: But it's not tonight right?
Stu Price: No I don't think so.
Alan Garner: But you don't know for sure? I have this cousin Marcus who saw one he said it blew his mind I want to make sure I never ever miss out on a Haley's comet.

Alan Garner has got to be one of the most disturbingly different and original movie characters in recent times.

Kind of........

In Thunderball Bond has the Top Time with the Geiger counter, but Domino's brother (who never had a name as far as I know) had a Navitimer 806. In the book, Bond removes the watch from the brother's body and puts it on his own wrist, in the movie he doesn't.

Domino's brother's name was Francois Derval. Thunderball is my favourite Connery Bond film, plus it featured the lovely Claudine Auger. :D

:yeahthat of course but the gorgeous Vulcan as well.

1) Capt. Kirk: Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

2) Leonard 'Bones' McCoy: Permission to speak freely, sir?
Spock: I welcome it.
Leonard 'Bones' McCoy: Do you? OK, then. Are you out of your Vulcan mind? Are you making a logical choice, sending Kirk away? Probably. But, the right one? You know, back home we have a saying: "If you wanna ride in the Kentucky Derby, you don't leave your prized stallion in the stable."
Spock: A curious metaphor, doctor, as a stallion must first be broken before it can reach its potential.
Leonard 'Bones' McCoy: My God, man, you could at least *act* like it was a hard decision...
Spock: I intend to assist in the effort to reestablish communication with Starfleet. However, if crew morale is better served by my roaming the halls weeping, I will gladly defer to your medical expertise. Excuse me.
Leonard 'Bones' McCoy: [as Spock leaves] Green-blooded hobgoblin...

3) Spock: Once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

4) - Random chance seems to have operated in our favor" -- Spock
- "In plain, non-Vulcan English, we've been lucky" -- McCoy
- "I believe I said that, Doctor" -- Spock

5) - Live long and prosper, Spock. -- T'Pau
- I shall do neither. I have killed my captain, and my friend. -- Spock

One of my favourite bits of the whole movie. Spock is the man (Vulcan?), even new!Spock.

He was kind of my idol when I was a kid, I wanted to be just like him.
