Just got back from Holland, mainly Amsterdam, Zandaam, and Nardin-Bussen. What a wonderful country! Absolutely beautiful and downright insane! I thought it was humourous that I couldnt smoke a cigarette in a cafe because the law prohibits it but people around me where allowed to order Marijuanah

Anyway, down to the pics:

Great pictures Altair! Quite a few that could easily make it into the Holland Tourist Board catalogue there. (Maybe not the last one though, eh? :poke: )

I've never been to Holland myself, but those pics really make me want to go. Great stuff.

I think it is safe to say you have taken a picture or two in your days.

Those are postcard worthy

Great shots Altair - haven't been there since my teenage days (so don't remember much of it).

Pics 2,3 & 4 look awfully close to a certain district with red lights eh Altair :poke:

Great photos. I'm glad you had a good time. I loved Amsterdam, great vibe and a fun place to spend some time.

Great pictures, I have spent a lot of time in Holland, nice fun people, relaxed, yet organised, recommend it to anyone, plenty of culture, night life and as Altair has shown in his photos nice scenery.

Ian

Yes very beautiful place, and boy talk about culture shock! To go from one extreme to another (from Saudi to Amsterdam and back) where you cant drink alcohol to a place where you can order magic mushrooms off a five star hotel services book is just overwhelming!

Shhhhh!

If you have been there, did you find it slightly odd that a school, a church, and a whore house are on the same street??!

Only in Amsterdam  Really a fun place.

Did you make it to the Grasshopper Bar for a 90 proof Absinthe?

Afraid not, not a drinker. My only vices are cigarettes and, as you can tell from that pic, the occasional cheesecake
