Anyone else super excited for Boardwalk Empire, Bored To Death, Eastbound & Down, and most of all DEXTER?!?!? I am soooo pumped. Some of my favorite shows. |

Good Taste on shows. I cut my HBO a while back but I will be watching all of these the first chance I get (next visit home or streaming...shhhh) I didnt think Boardwalk really met my expectations because I heard they spent a ton on the pilot. I dont know a specific number but I heard $14 million at one point. Anyhow aside from that it looks like an interesting story going forward. |

My DVR wasnt automatically recording new episodes of Entourage and Hung, so I had to manually record those time slots. Now that they both ended, the time slots are still set to record and thats how I found Boardwalk, Eastbound, and Bored. I actually deleted Boardwalk without watching it since a friend said he didnt enjoy it. Might go back and record it again. I saw Eastbound for the first time as well (I guess this is the second season?) and while its sort of funny, I wouldnt mind if I didnt see it again. Bored is waiting to be watched. Ive gotta say, HBO really seems to be packing the lineup recently. I dont remember a period with this many originals before. BTW, did any of you guys watch The Pacific a while back? I was super excited about it, but ended up thinking it was terribly boring. Total bust imo. |

I mean it must be if its being directed by martin scorsese and produced by him and mark walhberg. You really need to watch the first episode though in order to set it up for you to understand the following episodes. Very cool story line and the acting is second to none. Can't go wrong with steve buscemi. |

Was a good line-up. Not to mention, the football on all day! I never had HBO back East but the girfriend insisted that we get it in Chicago - I've not regretted it at all. Boardwalk Empire has been pretty good so far. I do have to say, it's been a little slow. They are really pacing themselves... Bored to Death is a great show. Started watching mid-season last year and I'm totally hooked. Easbound and Down was, as always, hilarious. Kenny Powers! |

I was cracking up during the cock fight: "tres for dos on Big Red!!" |
