It's finally here. I ordered this automobile in November from the dealership I work for. It arrived on February 26th.

There's $465,000 worth of automobiles on board. $600,000 when it left the factory. Two Z06's on the top row. $80,000 each.

Taking the top out, I have two tops, one transparent, the other yellow.

My auto had an MSRP of $54,880. I'm elgible for GMS pricing, since I'm an employee of the dealership. It saved me $7780 (Enough for a couple of new Lings!) So far, my wife and I really love it. Top speed is 190 mph (305 kph, 220 knots) direct from the factory!

Finally had a pretty day out to shoot some pictures.....

Dude, that is AWESOME. I love the color, and they just keep finding ways to improve the Corvette -- amazing really. Each time they change it, I like it more. That whole series of pictures is just cool. To see it come off the carrier and wind up in your driveway is sweet. Good thing it wasn't raining that day!

Congrats, and enjoy your new ride.

P.S. The fact that you let your wife drive it home from the dealership tells me a lot about you and your marriage. I totally respect that. Good on ya.

Very, VERY nice Brian!! I think in the competition of "who had a better day" (me getting my Motors and you getting your Vette), I think we can safely say that you've won HANDS DOWN!!!

Lovely ride, man!!! Congrats!

Congrats on your new piece Driver!

It was a fun day for me, I wasn't expecting the car for another week. It made my day seeing the truck rolling through town. I did a 180 in the road and chased it back to our store. I skipped lunch, and watched them unload it. Truly a great experience.

Thank you.

My wife and I really love the car. It's sat in the garage the last few days, and I'm hoping the weather man is right for this weekend. It's supposed to be in the mid 60's.

My wife and I have been married for seven years. I've been truly blessed, she's a great girl. She was really excited about the car, and isn't afraid to stand on the throttle which scares me to death. She has no fear of it.

Hey Brian -- Congratulations on the Vette!

Nothing like an American muscle car, with a hot blond wife to boot! I think her smile says it all!

How do you like the "HUD" on the windshield? I feel like a sudo fighter pilot every time I strap on my buddies ZO6 and take to the road.

I know you and your wife will have a blast. . . .as the vette isn't really a car you drive, rather it's one you hold onto and ride!

Thank you!

I know American muscle isn't too popular across the pond. Much finer alternatives in Europe. Bang for the buck, here in the US, it's one of the fastest production cars made. The fastest production car is the Z06 at a cool $80,000 USD.

Thanks!

I opted for the car not to have the HUD. It adds another $6,000 to the package going to the 3LT. I won't drive the car that much so I elected not to have the option. I went with the 2LT because I plan on adding a touchscreen Alpine or Kenwood DVD/NAV (I haven't decided just yet which one) and to change a few things in the audio department. Both units have Bluetooth capabilities, and that beats OnStar's user fees. Handsfree in the car for free vs. buying additional minutes for use with OnStar.

I've rode in a handful of Z06's and they are incredibly FAST. Of course, HUD is standard in the Z06, as it should be spending $70-80K!

Thanks again!

Very very nice! C6's are by far the best bang for the buck on every level from the stock c6 to a z06 to the soon to be zr1. The look/comfort/performance is unmatchable for the price.
