Yeah yeah - I realised afterwards!

The black 'F' in the photo was one of the very last available in the UK and I bought it new, sometime around 1972.

I have a couple of Nikkormats too, but no room in the display!

I thought at first that the lens mounted on the FE (?) was the 20mm F4 - fantastic lens that - but on closer inspection it looks more like a 24 or 28mm - and it's a 2.8 so that theory is buggered...

It's an FE2....and it wears a crappy little 'E' series lens it came with off the 'bay.....looks better than a cap I guess? :)

I started on the press with a Nikkormat and ever since I had a big soft spot for them.....so I started to collect a few a couple of years ago, my luckiest find was the very rare FS....no meter, only produced for a couple of years and so hard to find in mint condition as most were used in industrial setups and not particulary looked after.

Recently been selling off all my Blad equipment as now I am all digital it never gets used....shame really but needs must, and besides it had funded some nice tickers! :D

Best regards David

Can't you stick Digital modules on the backs of Hasselblads?

On a side note.. does Nikkormat have anything to do with Chronomat? :?

You mean he's done it before? I see a trend developing here

Your close enough Sporty, FT2, FT, FTn no idea where my FT3 has got to!

No connection I am afriad with Chronomat, AFAIK...nah...definately not!

Yes you can buy a digi back for the blads, but quite frankly unless your producing magazine covers every week its not worth the investment, I could buy several Bentleys and have change.....in fact if I bought a digi back for every blad I had I could buy a bentley with wheels!

Best regards David
