EBay may be your best idea of value, although these are pretty specialised, maybe there are some Rolling Stones forums who may be able to help???

I'd be happy to take the CDs and box off your hands though if they are taking up space

Sadly, I'd guess they're not worth as much as you hope Al. Because the Stones have been going so long, there's a lot of stuff about.

I picked up a crew only Bridges to Babylon tour jacket for about £12 and the main reason I got it was because the seller had included a promo cd single I didn't have!

I assume the cds are the official albums rather than promo versions so to a collector, it's only the case which is of value.

As for the skin, who is it signed by? Charlie or all the band? If it's the whole group, you may get up to $500 if you can prove it's genuine.

I don't know of any good places selling this type of memorabilia other than http://eil.com/artist/Rolling-Stones.asp

The Stones message boards only seem to come to life when they're touring.

Now if Keef had given you Micawber!!! :D

Thanks Sharky, good bargain on the tour jacket I did sell a few of those on ebay and got £150 each from different artists,Elton,Kiss etc.It was just a passing thought about selling off some stuff that is just in cupboards but not desperate for the dosh so can wait probably give it all to my kids when the day comes.Supose Im just lazy even got a Pearl export with double kicks stuck away, theres not a lot of opertunity in France the musical taste where I am is not exactly rocking,

Found This amonst my things just for interest

Cool! Not a fan of Kiss but that would be worth a lot to the right person.

One thought on the Stones gear is to wait until they tour again. More interest so higher prices.

All this talk of touring maybe I,ll do the next Stones just to catch up with old mates, meantime Breitling rules have to get mine a full service but dont want to use France as its more expensive ,would I take it to Tunbridge Wells for this as Im not keen on posting it if anyone knows, or maybe I,ll give them a call :lingsrock:

BUK will accept any watch from EU no probs at all or you could send it to Andrew Micheals and he will send it in then return it to you :lingsrock:

I thought of that but I would have to use the French postal system and its not good.My G/F is going to her sisters in sevenoaks this month so thought she could take it if they are in Tunbridge,it could be sent back to my family in yorkshire when done and Im driving over in July on route to Florida so it would maybe wok out ok,got a week and half to come up with something.

Hey Al, I know that you mentioned that you had done some work with Metallica as well - no chance of you having anything to dispose of from the Master of Puppets / Ride the Lightning era I suppose????

No sorry Roff all my Metallica stuff went years ago,my bigest regret was a few years after Master of Puppets I found the Drums Laars used on the tour in our wharehouse covered in dust.My mistake I asked the back line guys if I could buy it for my son as he was learning, their reply "we didnt even know they were still around ",so they had a word with Laars and he had someone come by and pick them up.They told me later I should have just taken them home as Laars never sells or gives anything away so some rock stars are not over generous even though he has a kit in most major cities in the world.
