Whilst browsing through the forthcoming air show dates, I came across the news that the wing walking display team "AeroSuperBatics" were being sponsored by Breitling for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. No list of shows is on their site yet but I know they are booked for RAF Cosford on Sunday 13 June.

Quite why the colour scheme, which was "specially designed by Breitling", is orange (or should that be coral)/white rather than blue/yellow like the Breitling Jets is a mystery to me. I'm just grateful Breitling didn't simply DLC it in blacksteel like everything else they now design!

Here's a pic of the team performing in last year's colours.

AeroSuperBatics Ltd's Breitling Wingwalkers are the world's only formation Wing-walking Team using up to five Boeing Stearman aircraft, and are based at Rendcomb in Gloucestershire. Previously known as Team Guinot and the Utterly Butterly Wing-walking Display Team and before that as the Crunchie Wing-walking Display Team, the aircraft remain the same but are now painted in the Breitling sponsored colours.

The aircraft display a breathtaking sequence of loops, rolls and turns while wingwalkers wave and perform handstands against 150mph wind pressure. The wingwalkers also get back into the cockpit after their display while the aircraft is still in flight.

That's cool, and the DLC comment was very funny!

Maybe this is a little bit of a hint of the dial colour options for the B01 Navitimer

Dont mind that they steered away from the yellow and blue, however, I would think that could have done a little better on the paint scheme. Looks outdated to me. Maybe its made to be simple very corporate and retro.

I think it looks good! Will look even better on the real thing.

Here's two of their aircraft at my local turf last year...
