I had a terible time over there, work was a bitch. had to stay for a longer period and spend more time working than I had hoped necessary. And dont get me started on the prices over there. Rent for my tobacco shop in Jumairah mall is up 15% this year over last ![]() Flynbyu wrote: Please do so. I would love to visit Dubai!!!!! ~Brian Don't see why, it is the worlds largest tourist trap. Humoungas malls and eye straining skyscrapers aside the whole place has an artificial air to it, nothing feels authentic. Dont know if this makes sense to anybody but thats how I feel. I enjoy buitifull Oman or maybe a visit to interesting and relaxing Turkey if you want to visit the ME. Flynbyu wrote: Are you of Middle Eastern descent or are you a transplant to the area? Just curious about the language barrier there. ~Brian Yes, card carying towel-head ![]() Let's see, on the watch front the stores were plenty and almost all models were there, however prices were much higher than i had hoped so i will definately be waiting on my AD in Riyadh to get the watches I want in stock. I saw the PAM 98 and nearly bought it but decided I should wait and put the price difference towards my next PAM: the 250. I just wish he would hurry up and stock them!!! Breitlings are better priced, Rolex and Omega as well and every shade and model available. Saw the PP Nautilus for the first time in real life, I thought the watch looked awfull in pics but was actually quite stunning in real life. The star of the show though was definately the AP SS ROO Safari (DROOL DROOL DROOL) if there was ever a watch worth 15k+ it is definately that baby. |

Card carrying towel head? ![]() Good one. I'm a card carrying wagon burner myself (I have Cherokee Indian in my bloodline). ![]() Thanks for the answer. I would love to visit there sometime. I'm big into dunning on ATV's and there's lot's of sand there! I wish I had the jack to buy an island there. Welcome back sir! ~Brian |

Tons of places, Jumairah Beach is popular, Mall of Emirates and Ibn Batuta are huge and interesting places for tourists. Depends on what they are into but there are theme parks and boat rides all over the place. They can get a helicopter ride from Burj Dubai. |
