Favorite sitcom: The Office

The others that I always make sure to record are Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, and probably the funniest show ever, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

PSYCHOVILLE from some of the League of Gentlemen guys was comedy gold.... doubt if it has made it over the pond though, and I doubt if the humour will be appreciated either...

PHOENIX NIGHTS- another all time classic.

KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU & I'M ALAN PARTRIDGE - pure genius from Steve Coogan.

I may be biased, but you can't beat British comedy. Although saying that, Frasier was damn good.

I think the "Extras" is hilarious.

Ricky Gervais is so friggin' funny.

But I like others as well: Scrubs, etc.

Blackadder for me (well, series 2, 3 and 4, plus Blackadder's Christmas Carol and the short Cavalier Years. The fiorst series wasn't great) are by far and away the greatest comedy series EVER in my book. Even though I've seen them all countless times and know practically the entire script, I STILL laugh when I watch it.

Nothing in recent years has come close IMHO.

Couldn't really pick one. Between Fawlty Towers/OFAH with Porridge/Blackadder very close behind.

Best US made show for me is Police Squad!, the forerunner to the Naked Gun films.

Btw, am I the only person on the planet who fails to find Ricky Gervais the least bit funny?

All time/Classic: Cheers
Modern: Scrubs (really is very funny and do not even try to interject any real medicine-- something that just irritates me!)

Don't watch any modern ones, but as an English expat the classics......

Porridge, It aint half hot Mum, early Allo Allo, Some mothers do ave em, Open all hours and of course Only fools and horses.

As a one off show 'The Plank' is hilarious.

Just thought of another couple of classics - Keeping up Appearances and Monkey Magic - both outstanding!

Classic has to be: M*A*S*H

Other than that I really can't decide - anything with Ronnie Barker or Blackadder Goes Fourth I reckon for me.
