I used to have a school colleague called Constable - not unnaturally he later became a policeman - and the thought of his superior officer screaming "What are you doin' Constable Constable" really cracks me up!

Or of course the timeless Monty Python police station sketch where a 'bobby' enters the station and salutes his superintendant with "Evenin' Super" to which the superintendant replies "Evenin' wonderful"
