No, I've not been looking at cars this weekend, Naviman. I honestly can't justify it at the moment. :(

Might be time to sell a few 'Lings?

$10USD per gallon....wow.

My daily driver, company car, Dodoge Charger R/T gets around 24mpg out on the highway and 16 in town with the cruise set. Our Tahoe gets around 21mpg on the highway (3.42 gears, 2WD) and 16-17mpg in town. Our Corvette is getting 25mpg on the highway and around 17mpg in town.

I absolutely love the M3's performance specs, but living across the pond would put a damper on owning one for sure. I feel bad for you guys over there.....Property, autos, fuel, food, and LINGS are outrageous.

I couldn't imagine putting fuel in any of my rides for $10 per gallon.

That's life in the UK, Brian. :?

A lot of people over here would find it tough to run any car with an engine capacity over 2 litres. That's why the big engined cars (750i's, S500's etc) plummet in value on the used car market.

The think is, when the world oil reserves start to run dry you guys across the water will be stuck with your 10 litre cars and nothing to put in them! Maybe it's time to embrace those 1 litre Fiats before it's too late!!!

(Hmmm, I was almost sounding "Green" then! Better snap out of that one quick sharp! Now where's the keys to the M3! )

Here in Canada we are really taking fuel economy seriously (he said, tongue firmly in cheek). I just got a $1,000 rebate from the government for buying an environmentally friendly, good fuel economy vehicle.

It's a 2.4!!!

D8,

I would rather ride a bike then drive a 2 liter car because I could pedal my bike faster  I could use the extra exercise though
