Bit of an odd request this, but does anyone out there know forum member "El Rey"?

I know that some of you guys know each other socially out there in the 'real world', so if anyone knows him can you ask him to check both his email and his PM's on here, and ask him to drop me a line as soon as he can, please.

It's nothing serious or anything, but it will definitely be in his interest to drop me a line (either email or PM), and he seems to have dropped off the map lately.

Rey stopped by my booth at a car show yesterday and we sat and talked about the LeMans...

Well if you see him again Mario, you might want to seriously encourage him to log in and pick up his PM's at some point as he's got 3 of them from me, and all of them unread........ including one dating back to the 5th of June. That was the last time we corresponded............ and that's almost 2 months ago now! In fact, he just needs to log into his email account, as I've sent mails there too.

Jeez, I've known people trekking through the Himalayas that are easier to get in touch with. SERIOUSLY.

I just left him a message and suggested that you just ship the watch to me and he can swing by and pick it up from my house whenever he comes through town again. I'm always home so it's no bother to me. I've asked him to log in to BS and check his PM's as well.

Thanks Mario, and I'm more than happy to ship it to you, but I'll need Rey to confirm to me in writing (via email or PM) that he's happy for me to do that. Obviously I just need to cover myself here!

Also, the insurance issue (which is why Rey asked me to hold fire for 1 or 2 days (almost 2 months ago now) before sending it while he sorted out some 3rd party insurance at his end), will still be the case even if I send to you. Again I'll need confirmation from Rey before I send it to you, but if I don't hear anything from him by the 31st July (as per my PM's and emails over the last few weeks) I'm just going to send it to his address anyway with the max insurance I can get here in the UK, which as I've told Rey is only £500 GBP.

Just to be 100% clear here - once the watch is sent (with the max insurance of £500 and a tracking number, etc), I cannot be held responsible for any losses or damage that may occur in transit, and I accept no liability in that regard. Therefore if it gets lost, stolen or damaged in transit the maximium that can be claimed back is £500. If Rey requires additional insurance he'll have to arrange it within the next 3 days (or at the very least give me a FIRM date when it will be arranged by).

I just want to get the damn thing posted now as it's literally been months since the sale was agreed and the thing was paid for! Feels like it's been hanging over my head for ever, and I just want to close off the transaction for good...... if only to stop my girlfriend from moaning about the box being stuck in the spare room!

(I realise this should normally be a PM conversation, but this is a very strange situation and I'd rather there are a few more witnesses as a way of covering my backside if anything should go wrong here).
