Well, my other childhood dream... Becoming a pilot  .

I just got off the phone with my flight school, and I scheduled my first lesson on Wednesday. I can hardly wait!

I'll post pics of my perfect landing if you guys want. :D

(Sorry, I just had to tell someone...)

The flight on wednesday is just the intro flight. However, I will start my ppl lessons shortly after.

It's odd seeing someone live a dream I'd like to. Sadly, as I'm off to University do live another dream (a degree, hopfully followed by a career, in Journalism) , I can't really afford flying lessons. And before anyone points out that I could have got my pilot's licence for what my watch cost, I know. But at least I'll have the watch of aviators on my wrist when I do eventually get off the ground!

PS. If any instructors want to teach me to fly for cheap in return for a magazine article I'll be keen to talk. Can't hurt to ask!
