So I ordered three iphones (mom, dad, and me) when the system went online last Friday at 2:00am through att.com. I've been calling ATT about my order as it was still showing processed where my parent's had "shipped". Att never got my order, so they placed a new order for me on the 15th. Fast forward literally hours of conversations with ATT, seriously, yesterday I was put on hold for one hour and six minutes just to speak with a supervisor. After all that and being told that they were "fairly certain" my phone shipped... My parents iphone 5's showed up today and mine was missing. I gave up, went to an apple store at noon, walked in and walked out with a new phone... I would suggest this to anyone in the future! Avoid the carriers, go to the source if possible..

Bottom line is this is just a phone, it is cool, it works well, but it is just a phone after all. My persistence in obtaining it was really about principal. Be happy for good health, good family, and good friends... don't sweat the small stuff..

My thoughts exactly. And 4G LTE is blazing fast, I love it. I need a better case for mine though, the one that Verizon sold me stinks.

Imagine my surprise to find out that LTE is not available in Los Angeles with Sprint. Nice.

Apparently it should be available by the end of the year, but man, thats pretty stupid.

As much as I hate having to buy new cables for everything, I really like that the lighting plug can go into the phone in either direction.

Also, a friend of mine said he went to the apple store late this afternoon and they had a few models available still.

Did they have a number of cases available? They dont show anything online and I dont want to waste my time going there if they dont have any.

I saw none in the UK Apple store, so I ordered a Cygnett Carbon but you should be able to pick up a Cygnett case in the US easily enough, I ordered this morning and got a despatch note already.

Well, I've got a dead pixel (a black dot mostly noticeable when the screen is white), and yes it is tiny, and yes I may be insane for even noticing it... but I will be exchanging this phone... I would say to everyone, open a blank web page (new page) and take a good look at your screen. I have done some very quick research and others are noticing this as well. As I'm not sure if Apple will exchange for this (small) issue after their 14 day policy, I need to swap ASAP.
