No, it is not the Z06. The Z06 has the forced air induction up front, two vents toward the rear tires, a fixed top (Not removable), and a wider body. All this for another $25,000 USD. The car we own is just your run of the mill, C6 (Generation Six), LT2 package, with paddleshift, two stage exhaust, polished aluminum wheels, with two removable tops (One transparent, the other color matched).

Spending another $7K will make my car produce 145 more horsepower than the Z06, and push it close to the 205 mph threshold that the new ZR-1 is capable of. The new Zr-1 is a BEAUTY, but it's $100,000+.

brian have you read up on car and driver's review of the zr1 ...wow! they compared it to a ferrari 599 gtb fiorano.

I like Italian cars, and love Ferrari..I am italian this is probably why.

The vette has come far..if you find yourself free to read up on the article..its wow.

I just saw my first zr1 yesterday, a few blocks from my house. That thing is crazy! Congrats on the car Brian (even though im waaaay late to this party), and I hope you continue to enjoy it.
