I own a small advanced composite materials supply company. Being in Indianapolis, we sell primarily to the motorsports industry.

I'm just finnishing off my instrument rating for my air transport pilots licence, so hopefully, i'll be an airline pilot soon! It's cost a lot more than a couple of breitlings, but i'm not sure which one is more rewarding!

Archie,

I, as an American, am wondering how the Bush administration made such a profound impact on the Australian banking industry as to make you loose your job. I do not believe that one man, one administration or a single government was responsible for the global financial crisis that we now find ourselves in. Surely you did not intend to imply this in your statement. I do not believe that there is a single member in this forum that would concur with you. Yes, what the world is now experiencing in the financial markets stems and has its roots in the banking system. Few would deny this. Each day we see more and more banking failures which result in the inevitable tightening of the credit markets and thus the subsequent loss of jobs secondary to contraction of economic growth. I am sorry if you have lost your job. I feel for you and yours. But, to make such a statement as you have made, to accuse the prior U.S. administratration and by assosiation, that of the U.S. government itself, is to display your ignorance of the situation. Please tell me how you think the U.S. government circumvented the Australian banking regulatory system and single-handedly brought about this financial calamity in which we now find ourselves? The last time I checked your profile you were living in Australia and were self-employed. What did the USA do that caused the financial centers of Australia to crumble upon themselves causing you to loose your self-employment status?

I do not intend to take such an adversarial stance with you. For the most part I enjoy your posts and interactions on this site. I find you to be a pleasant sort of chap. If I am wrong, if there are mitigating circumstances that I am not privy to then I will be the first to apologize, but I refuse to sit idly by and allow you to launch into a rhetorical accusatory tirade that is wholy inacurate and without foundation or merit. I take offence.

:yeahthat Thanks br549. Seems the blame game frequently does not stand to evidence. Well said.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys they are much appreciated but I do owe Coltwales an apology. It was not my intention to trainwreck his thread.

So, come on, lets get back to the original purpose and hear what everyone does for a living.

Cheers

Fun thread!
My work is self developed and has a few avenues of use, amongst them are.
Help people develop and use their intuitive abilities, douse to find minerals and oil, work with law enforcement agencies around the golbe on missing persons cases as well as other things.

I work with actors and musicians when they are working on a new role or album, helping them get the most out of their creative capabilities.

I am writing a book on living life from a spirit based perspective and last but not least filming a documentary on ley lines which is hopefully being taken up by a few broadcasters around the globe!

I love what I do and am blessed to get to meet some really great folks in my work.
