After all, we all have paid thousands for our watches and proudly reveal them, she paid thousands for her "watch" - I like your logic LOL

Sarah, I continue to enjoy your posts....photos also

Admin – perhaps we could start a Hints from Heloise subforum.

Admin- after Hints from Heloise please add a Grumpy Old Men subforum

I think as you will see from other threads, I am more than willing to be helpful and objective on matters related to watches. Expressing disdain for this foolish Freshman flirtatiousness does not equate to grumpiness or being old, of which I am neither. Rather it is simply a strong suggestion that a measure of maturity goes a long way towards furthering the integrity of this site and what it is supposed to be about – watches. Please note your comments and transparent photos appear in the “Breitling discussion” sub-forum, as do the pubescent droolings of but a few members of this site. All of which I and many, many others here do not find in the best interest of a discussion of Breitling watches.

I can’t state it more clearly than that, so if the point is not made, I see no reason to discuss it further.

Can we have further subforums so that we can further analyze the sub-dials of said watch. Your watch is lovely jjalcede, but I'm afraid the sub-dials are too close together to be real, but still a lovely watch nonetheless.

I'm not saying pictures of watches in fetching settings are necessarily detrimental to the discussion of said watches. However, I did think nr123 was actually talking about Sarah's Navitimer, and spent several fruitless minutes studying the pictures of it, trying to figure out how I'd been duped into thinking it was real. Draw your own conclusions.

I could not agree more. But, as Driver8 has suggested, we should continue to voice our position regarding this childish and rather baseless posting by PM to Admin. I do not feel comfortable in this thread, neither with kindergarden cleavage jokes nor with the history how this thread started.

OK, as someone's pointed this out in the thread, and more than one member has mentioned it in private (plus as I've just spent time editing some of Archie's video links due to language), I just want to re-iterate a couple of points, not all of which relate directly to this thread.

Firstly, while a large proportion of people here are western males between 20 and 30ish, it by no means makes up the entire membership. Contrary to comments in this thread, we have had more than one female member here in the past. We also have members of all ages, from all over the globe, and from different cultures. This is why we say keep it family-friendly, and safe-for-work ; if this simple request is adhered to, then by extrapolation it's not going to alienate anybody. Swear-fest videos and breast shots aren't really the kind of thing I want on my screen at work. I had a very "interesting" conversation with a female employee of mine a few weeks back at work, whereby she was passing my desk just as I happened to open one of the threads posted by our FHM-style photographer member. That's not a situation I appreciate in the office.

Secondly, yes we all know that men go weak at the knees over the sight of a cleavage, but constant drooling and breast gags do not make anyone appear more manly or virile. It also winds some members up if things get too infantile and prepubescent. Let's be honest here, we're not going to alienate and lose members due to a lack of breast gags, but we might lose some as a result of too many.

Apologies if this comes across as stuffy and dull - it's not meant that way ; it's just keeping things appropriate to a watch forum.

And damn proud of it. Thanks for deleting the PM you sent me...I had no intention of reading it anyway.

What you say makes a lot of sense especially when you take different cultures and work situations into consideration. That's why I never understood the positive comments towards "lingman" from the moderators especially when so many members were offended. I always knew NOT to open his videos at work.

Fair argument - would not want to get into a difficult conversation over that, especially if the sub-dials are too close to be a real Breitling. If it were a real Breitling.....still inappropriate, but

@RXPete - We did actually remove a few of Lingmans overly sweary videos for this very reason. A few things probably slipped through or were left because we know him from a long time back before the forum was as big and international as it is now. Things have had to change in light of the growing size, so some things that were known by all at the time to be said entirely tongue-in-cheek would nowadays have to be moderated.

BTW if ever anything ever offends anyone, you are more than welcome to PM Admin, Roff or myself about it and we'll look into it. I can't guarantee that everything raised will always get moderated as a lot will come down to our judgement, but we're here to ensure things are looked into.

Would be curious though to see what traffic was like pre and post all the "risque" type photos. I'm on here more than on facebook LOL

Oh come now people! Maturity goes both ways. It doesn't have to be a bunch of drooling teenage boys, but neither should it be about stuffy politically-correct "we are all a bunch of sexless androgynous watch enthusiasts nerds" neither!

In all fairness, I remembered the first pic was simply a full-body wrist shot, and because the OP has breasts and confidence and great attitude, the inevitable joking about has continued. But were any of the comments rude or vulgar or anything halfway crossing the line??

Yes this is a "family-friendly" site, but I've always thought it's closer to Discovery / National Geographic than Disney / Nickelodeon. Seriously how many actual kids actually read BreitlingSource forum?? Everyone else who are over 18 are legally adults, no? If we can have a seriously-NON-family-friendly explicit jokes in our "Funnies" section, I can't understand why we have to have such a stuffy attitude everywhere else in the same BreitlingSource forum! Must OP add a "WARNING: Maybe offensive" to the title of this thread? Really??

The shame would be if Sarah decides enough is enough, and we all have to go back to the never-ending "what was Breitling thinking??!" and "I'm never gonna buy that!!" threads...

I am now limiting my comments on this thread, consistent with my last post, to the actual post by the OP - the watch looks terrific on you. It certainly is not too big.

But in the end it does not matter what anyone else thinks about the watch - if you like it, it's the correct watch. Neither our opinions here or those of folks you meet in person matter for sqaut IF YOU enjoy the watch on your wrist.

I'm sorry but this isn't really open for discussion. A line has to be drawn somewhere, or should we just say that anything goes? Full on hardcore porn perhaps? I'm sure there are some people who would think that perfectly acceptable, but there are others who won't.

At the end of the day this is a watch forum, and it's worth remembering that the rules here are not exactly a very long list compared to some other forums out there. We will never be able to please everyone, and in the absence of having to navigate constant shades of grey (always having to ask "oh what percentage of the members will find this offensive and what won't?", etc), it's more simple to just say no overt strong swearing (F's and C's) and no overtly sexual stuff. Nice and simple, and hopefully not hard for people to remember.

If you really feel the need to prove you're not an 'androgynous watch enthusiast nerd' there are plenty of other sites that can cater for that aswell, but this is about watches.

Yes! This thread was "about watches", and "nothing overtly"! That was my point...
