Is this the fun zone?

Do you like cheese? I collect cheese.

Of COURSE it the fun zone! And I love cheese too.

As will my collection of rare leaves!

This one in particular, is vintage, and in order to own it, costs me about the same amount as my house payment, each month...STUNNING!!! :plot:

Sir, that is one of the finest vintage leaves I have ever seen. How did you manage to find a vintage "dentated lanceolate" in such good condition???? Hardcore leaf-collectors (or leafers as they are affectionately known in Botany circles) would pay upwards of £25k for this Patek Phillipe of the plant organ world! I mean, the bowed shape, the arcing spine, the embossed texture of the vascular tissue and the elaborately decorated marks on the epidermis (circa 1967 no???) are immense and of particular interest to this novice leaf collector. I have only been collecting nigh-on 4 years but one day hope to uncover a treasure like the one you own. Well done and godspeed!!!!!!!!

That leaf still has its original patina...which is impressive for such a rare specimen. I would reccomend, however, that you bring it to a good restorer and maybe the crack on the left hand side can be repaired. At the very least you could take a cape cod to it and give it a spruce. :D

all you cheese fans out there might like to know that the first commercial cheese factory was founded 194 years ago yesterday in Switzerland. You learn something new (and useless) everyday!!!!!!!!

I made a pilgrimage to the cheese factory once, saw the whole process and I have to say that their service department is top notch! I have some pictures somewhere but linking to them is kind of a pain. I'm actually a fan of all cheeses but swiss is not my top choice.

Holy Mackerel!!!

I collect $1 casino chips, random home poker chips (approx 1800 & counting), 70's & 80's BMX & freestyle bikes, cufflinks, and beer glasses. Nothing all that valuable, just fun stuff.
