No. It does not contribute to the stability of the pelvic ring, therefore uneccessary to fix if the superior ramus is fixed or the ring is stable anyway. Good thing too, those are a real ba$tard to get to. Very infrequently someone will localize pain to a nonunited (unhealed) inferior ramus. Of those a few of them are not crazy and actually need to be fixed for pain relief. I have had to do 2 ever. PAIN IN THE A$$
BTW Newbs: about 12 hours of work. THX for the interest, more than I figured anyone would care.

Driver 8 is a song by REM who are my all time favourite band, and I just thought it apt as I'm also a huge car/driving/racing fan too. (Yes I know the song Driver 8 is about a train-driver and not a car driver, but hey I like it, OK! )

Altair is Arabic, roughly translated it means The Flyer or he who is able to soar. Always had a fixation on aviation and the sky (astronomy as well) and Altair is also the name of the 13th brightest star in the sky, it also marks one third of the asterism known as the "Summer Triangle" and that is my birthday 13 of march. I guess I might have read the Da Vinchi code and it stuck somehow

feeling i should have put more thought into mine

it was originally my private plate on my car which was my first name and 2 initials from when i joined a car forum which was the first forum i joined

then i realised there were a fair few details of my car on the forum and my plate with my username so i changed it to just Alex** the ** represent one of my middle and my surname first letters.

Roff i wish id thought of old school name, have been a Stubbingtonian, a Bradfieldian and an Elvian all more interesting than Alex**

As much as I want to say its the name of a great African King, Ancient warrior, term taken from the iChing or Nubian prince the truth of the matter is I wasn't in a creative state of mind at the time of registration .
