I'm a huge red wine fan.
Bundaberg Rum.
Beer - I mainly prefer European style beers. I also like trying microbrews. My favourite US beers are Yuengling and Shiner Bock (Yuengling is hard to get in the midwest).
I also like single malt scotch (Laphroig) and bourbon whisky - JD, Bookers, Maker's Mark.

Contrary to the above I don't actually drink that much.

love it can drink it all day ...

That sent a shiver up my spine.

My wife and I drink a lot of Red Wine. Typically California, pinot noir, syrah, cab, the usual suspects. During the warmer months, we do drink a lot of rose (usually made from Syrah or Merlot). We really drink seasonally, but it is usually Red.

For beer, we drink Mexican beer in the summer quite a bit, and then cheap beer (Coor's Lite) preferably for tailgating and such.

I play a lot of golf, and when I drink on the course, its usually an ice pick (iced tea, lemon, vodka) or a John Daly (iced tea, lemon aid, vodka).

We drink frequently, but get drunk rarely...

I love Cider/Cidre! Preferred MontStMichel (or whatever dry one I can get from France), Bulmers or Scrumpy Jack!

And I join You with the Balvenie.

Sometimes a good Cognac or an aged Calvados (apple again!) after dinner.

this is a little like the "one favorite watch" thread, impossible to have just one poison.

beer: Budweiser, not the US version, but the original from Budvar, Czechia. Very rarely and actually only at the Schweizerhaus in Vienna, a perfect fit with those crispy ultra high cholesterol do not touch or die pork knuckles (Alien will understand)

wines:
whites from Austria (Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner from Wachau, Weinviertel; Chardonnay and Sauvignon from Southern Styria) and Italy (Sauvignon, Tocai, Chardonnay and Ribolla Gialla from Friuli Venezia Giulia) & many more from all over the world.
reds from Italy (Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile/Rosso di Montepulciano, Barolo), France and Spain, some surprising Austrians; California, Chile

spirits:
Grappa, Grappa, Grappa
Schnaps (Apricot, Pear, Elderberry, Quince, Apple)
Armagnac, Cognac, some brandies from Spain

and yes, a nice Gin Fizz (Tanqueray & Bombay), Mojito or Caipirinha in the right mood.

Beer: anything thing from Flying Dog brewery, Raging Bitch is my first choice also a Blue Moon if just throwing back something smooth

Wines: mainly reds but have been experimenting with some whites and seem better than I remember

Liquor: strictly vodka or sambuca, either Belvedere on the rocks with a splash of water and a lime or some sweet tea vodka with lemonade/water or iced tea. White or black sambuca straight up
