Fair enough. Even in the gaming world, there is disagreement on what a "gamer" is an what a "gaming platform" might be, with definitions ranging from depressingly elitist to uselesly generalized. This conversation would be a 20-page thread by now on a mainstream gaming forum, and turned into a giant flame war on a less policed one.
Anyway, the iPad: A friend recently got one. When I first saw it, I remarked, "You need to finish up that report. Geordi wants that down in Engineering." Seriously, the thing looks like a space notepad from Star Trek. He left his with me for a day. He wanted me to set the thing up so he could access the Internet through his iPhone, which basically involved hacking it. Saving $30 a month was worth voiding his warranty.
