Congratulations Altair! That is wonderful news. I just got engaged in September, and our wedding is planned for July! Except I am using the wedding as an excuse for watch purchases.. going to get myself a Rolex DJ and have it engraved!

Congratulations Altair! I have been married this time, for 23 years, and I do not regret any of it. As for buying watches, anniversary's work fine, thats how I got my Rolex Submariner 22 years ago.

Well done Altair - I'd just like to add my best wishes to the long list.

It's my 17th Wedding Anniversary today and although I'm in Italy (with my Wife being at home in Scotland) I arranged a card, flowers, email (along with links to the venue where we married) - present to come when she joins me later this month for a long drive home.

If you can be as happy after 17 years as I am then you'll be just fine.

PS - The 'Ling as an engagement and/or wedding present idea is tops!
