Let me all dope, who cares. Personally I loved seeing Barry Bonds all jacked up and hitting 450 foot shots every night. Entertain me, I don't care what they take. Lance is and always will be a 7 time tour champion in my eyes.

Not only that, but if everybody is doing it, its not really an unfair advantage. If Lance was doping, it really only leveled the playing field.

Exactly. But NOBODY has ANY proof that he did.

If he's stipped of his tiltles, who will get them ? Jan Ullrich who finished second in 2000/2001/2003 was also caught cheating, as was the Swiss Alex Zuelle who finished second in 1999 or Ivan Basso (second in 2005).

This is the question... will be interesting to see who gets awarded these Tours.

I agree with all the above. Truly ridiculous to decide on a 'guilty' plea with no physical proof. Good on Lance for 'retiring' from the case. Who knows if he was or not but he was never proven guilty from a drug test so good enough for me.

What are the second place cyclists from a 100 years ago going to say now - yes I'm first now; doubtful. A sad day for the US justice system for me.

Cycling is a very popular sport in Switzerland, so the Armstrong affair is a very hot topic.

Notwithstanding the fact that Armstrong is or is not guilty, many questions have arisen. Here is a sample:

Why is cycling again the target of doping ?
How many years can an Anti-Doping Agency go back in time, when more serious crimes are prescribed after 3 to 5 years ?
Why all other sports are considered clean ?
Why nobody was interested in the past of someone like, for example, Carl Lewis ?
How come that Jamaica, a small country of less than 2'000'000 can "produce" over 15 sprinters capable of doing less than 10'' at the 100m with no questions asked?
How many cases of doping would have been uncovered in football (soccer) if that sport was not protected by all-powerful Sepp Blatter ?
If Armstrong was supposedly doped, what proves that today's cyclists are not ? How can we be sure that the same thing won't happen with Bradley Wiggins or any futur winner ?
How can we trust USADA and its real motives ? Marion Jones, for example, admitted that that she was doped, otherwise USADA would never had found out.
Why Anti-drug agencies are "selecting" their targets and on what grounds ? Two examples of athletes that were discovered post-mortem: the Italian Marco Pantani and the American Florence Griffith-Joyner.
