I used to be a Marine Biologist too! I worked in Fisheries here in Australia, researching and setting catch quotas. Started off in the tanks at Sydney Aquarium. Like you, I'm no longer in the industry, but still do as much spear fishing as i can. If i can't look after them i can still eat them! :drool: :twisted:

:lol: Yes, I was at the local fish store today picking up a small tank, bunch of equipment. Ended up talking to the 18 year old kid working there and he said something that still rings true. After a talk about a captive breeding project he wants to do, He said, "As much as I love working here, I need to get a real job so I can afford my passion." Oh so true!

You want an easy enough fresh water setup, than a few neon tetras will look stunning under light and half a dozen guppies will become three dozen before you know it.
These little buggers will populate a mud puddle :-)
