@ jjalcede

Nothing offensive that i can see. Glad you have such a good sense of humor about the whole thing anyways. I personally think its cool to see a lady interested in Lings and sporting one proudly. Very VERY nice watch btw...Congrats!

I think the watch fits you nicely and is a good size. On a off note, will shooting guns damage a watch? I think I read on here how someone damaged their watch while training with full auto weapons. :guns:
Here is the topic I found viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17993

I don't wear $800 5" heels to the range. I have no desire to wear this watch or any other I pick up along the way to the range. If for nothing else, they would get ridiculously dirty. Every time we go shoot I get covered with gun powder, sweat, and sometimes pieces of sporting clays.

No thanks! I have a Polar that I use for workouts- its perfect for outdoors. This beauty is reserved for a/c activities ;)

I think the watch is a great size for your wrist. It sits well on your wrist and does poke past your wrist. The only times a watch looks a little too big for someone's wrist is when it pokes past the wrist and there is a space where the band meets the watch. But it looks like your watch contours nicely with your wrist.

You are mistaken.

Contrary to some of the accusations that I have received ( ) I have no interest in eliminating all of these pictures, just limiting the numbers. The picture that I removed was a different photo with a different outfit showing effectively the same shot.

I have no intention of debating my actions, anyone who doesn't like my moderation style can contact Admin (username breitlingsource).

I attempt to moderate the forum for the interests of all users, and just because one perspective on these photos is more vocal than the other perspective does not mean that there is a unanimous view (except for mine).

My last comment on the subject

Sorry everybody...i was wrong about the pic. :?

@ Roffensian

I wasnt intentionally trying to judge your moderation style or your removal of the pic. Youre just doing what youre supposed to do. I was just trying to reference the pic I thought was the reason for this post. Sorry.

I wish we could vote in a new moderator and give someone else a chance to rule this forum and potentially re-energize it. I make no bones about it, I dislike your style, attitude, and lack of personality.

Sarah, I continue to enjoy your posts....photos also

I'm sure Roff doesn't need me to defend him, so I'm not going to. And everyone's entitled to their opinion so I'm not going to berate you for yours, Sergio.

However, I would just say that moderating a forum isn't always the easiest thing in the world as you constantly have to balance your own views with those of the site's ethos, and the views of the other members. I personally try to moderate a bit more in the background : Roff is more foreground - there's no right or wrong way IMO, just different ways.

Anyone is more than welcome to contact the site owner directly about anything to do with the running of the forum. However, any decisions on the running of the site are entirely his : Roff and I just try to implement Admin's wishes for how the site is to be run. If Admin wants to change things up, then I'm sure he will..... but it's ultimately his call.

It's not about views, it's about treating people respectfully as you do in all of your posts. I can pull countless posts where his comments are rude. His lack of personality in posts come across as being a cold person. Yes, he has to answer the same questions over and over and over and over again and I'm sure that is frustrating, but that's not how to treat people who are coming to your site to help admin make money or at least cover his expenses.

If someone asks about a watch winder, immediately he will responding with the link to a watch winder thread and say "the search function works well to find this information" Add some personality, is that too mucht to ask???? If moderating is too difficult then he should step down and let someone else do it!!!

Just reminds me though - the post I made about how I was disappointed after hiring someone that I thought would be attractive, later to find out she wasn't. Everyone, I believe you commented also regarding that it's WHAT the person knows that counts.

Roff knows more about watches than anyone I have come across, but I agree - the way that it's conveyed could be changed.

JJALCEDE - see what your cleavage has done to us!

Hey the fact that we even allow photographs of girls in a balaclava means we're miles ahead of some other watch forums! jk

There are several watch forums out there that don't allow photos of firearms or knives or anything else in a group shot with the watch, let alone cleavage. We allow animated smiley guns: :guns:
