Man we live is such different countries. I don't own a gun, never have and am pretty sure that i don't know anyone who does apart from some farming friends (I live in Australia).

I've been a collector for years and I'm really a Kimber man. You can not buy a better out of the box pistol.

Same here, and we share a huge border with our friends to the south.

I live in farm country with a lot of natural predators (coyotes mainly, but some wolves left and the occassional bear and increasingly fishers attacking smaller animals) and game hunting (turkey and white tail mainly) so pretty much everyone has a firearm but they are all long barrels

Glock 33 - Sub compact .357 Sig. A bit too much power for such a small hand gun.

I agree. I own an HK P2000 and its the best hand gun I've ever owned. There are still lots of "California Legal AR's and AK's" they just have a capacity limit and the stupid bullet button. Thank good for our neighbor Nevada. I go to the gun show in reno around thanksgiving holiday and its easy to find what you need. Most dealers don't ask to many questions.

:yeahthat

In this country (the UK) even airsoft guns need to be painted bright colours or made of transparent plastic unless you're a member of an airsoft club.

In lots of ways I don't have a problem with the draconian gun laws here because anything that keeps guns out of the hands of the more "irresponsible" elements of society is a very good thing IMO, but on the flip-side I hate being told what I personally can and can't do by an elected body.

No doubt if we could own guns over here, then I probably would........ but we can't........... so I don't.

Don't forget Sig Sauer... don't know about you but the P-series pistols are some of the finest I've ever shot... P220 makes me

Don't know if you ever went shooting before RJ but it's great fun... good stress reliever... if I may, if you ever want to try a pistol out go to the Los Angeles Gun Club on 6th and Mateo in Downtown... you can try pretty much any small arms for a small rental fee... of course ammunition and booth rental separate... used to go there quite often and knew a few of the guys there but it was such a long time ago...

Ramen , you should also check out the Beverly Hills gun club, I hear its frequented by 6 ft blondes and Axel Foley of the Detroit police force, Billy Rosewood shows up from time to time too

Jlee on a side note I checked out the p220 elite dark ,and I will be purchasing it in a week when it comes in stock. That is a helluva piece.
