Hello All,
You guys are probably sick of my Louis Vuitton and Jewellery collections..... so I thought I would show you something that is more of a "boys toy."
This is the remains of my Hornby O Guage Collection. It is still a nice size for oneself.... however the glory days (I was still on wife number 1 at the time) are long gone..... I had a "PRINCESS ELIZABETH IN 9/10 CONDITON," an LMS Compound, a rare "Flyings Scotsman," Plus a host of other very rare things - 2 x Set E602 (only post war electric sets ever made), some 1920s boxed sets, argh...... DIVORCE! You have to love what lawyers will make you do!!! (Apologies to all the Corporate Lawyers, Legal people reading this).
I have not checked my small collection in a few years.... so I thought why not check, repack and take some pics.
My 2 young boys also loved to see the Vintage Toys..... unfortunately they still felt they were good to play with.....
After 1/2 an hour of play.... it was time to repack and put away.
Whilst my small collection is not worth alot of money.... it is just so cute! So by-gone area.
I always tried to collect boxed stuff..... as most people just through away the packaging!
