Just shamelessly promoting my new double CD; here´s the label write-up:
---------------------------------------------------------
This is the new doublealbum, and possibly the last, that will be released as Nordvargr. Henrik has expressed that he has nothing left to give as a darkambient composer, so this might be his final stand.

Disc one of Evolution is firmly rooted in classic Nordvargr territories - darkambient but with a slight MZ. 412 touch, as it has some more bombastic and noisy elements to it than what we are used to hear from him.

Disc two is divided in two parts - first 8 tracks from the AVART sessions ("Music for movement").
Part two is four tracks which are more "elektronika"-styled tracks, and shows another side of his personality.

Evolution is best described in Nordvargr´s own words:
"Evolution contains elements of music I have recorded over the last ten years as well as completely new material.
If you are familiar with my previous albums you will find sounds you have heard before, but in a new setting. But Evolution is not to be confused with a "best of" album - it is a distilled and refined album of my inner visions and feelings, filtered through my past to show the future, and possibly the end."

Tracklist :
Disc 1
Evolution:
1. Into the vast terrain
2. Clean
3. Intermission / A13370
4. Steriliserad
5. Avenging corridors
6. The silence of inner demons raging
7. Intermission / C13356
8. Ballad of the black horseman

Disc 2
Avart - Music for movement:
1. Oct1
2. Ikt2
3. Uct3
4. Act4
5. Ökt5
6. Åkt6
7. Hild7
8. Äkt8
I end now:
9. Interrupted by Thyras ande och arv
10. Automatik
11. Rektal
12. Patterns again
---------------------------------------------------------

For the initated ones you might find some references in the text above...

dude- you are Nordvargr????????????????? get out of here. your split with Merzbow 'partikel' is possibly amongst the scariest and deeply textural pieces of dark ambient drone i've ever come across. I once played the 'tardyon storm' track to a bunch of 10-15 yrs olds who were around for a family party and they seriously got sh*t scared!!!!!

I run experimusic.com a specialist website dedicated for the review of leftfield music so please check it out if you get a chance. Great to know you like your Lings too!!!!!

much respect
Kamio)))

Thanks for your kind words... nice to hear that you can actually scare people with music (even thought they were a bit young and probably easy targets).

Watch out for Partikel III which we aim to finished this year.

Partikel III- Damn, look forward to that. Any hints as to what kind of sound you are going for. Personally I prefer the slower lava-flowing and progressively layered sub-sonic terrorism to the out-and-out white noise fest but thats just me!!!!

Music definately has the power to scare. The thing with 'Tardyon Storm' is the minimalist kraut-ish hypnotic quality which really captures the attention. I also remember listening to 'Sinkhole' by Dead Voices on Air vs Not Breathing which scared me sh*tless. The atmosphere is important to- i.e good quality soundsystem, darkened room etc.

Me too! I did the old YouTube search as well!

Seriously dark stuff, and totally unique to anything I'd ever heard before.

Thanks! If you need a dose of my music for free there is some 20+ tracks that can be downloaded at

www.virb.com/nordvargr

Should be enough to make a nice mixtape to get nightmares from.

Also, please just note that I have not done any of the videos on youtube - that is all made and uploaded by fans.
I am however working on something right now that possibly could end up a DVD release in the future, time will tell.
