My preference: the Santorini blue.

Waste of money, just bm trying to do another special with silly price. Exactly same as individual and I have the extra black grills and splitters on my m3 and matt wheels all done by BMW for very good price.

Is a nice blue though but I love my imola

Taken from the article:
"Customers of the BMW M3 Limited Edition 500 not only get an exclusive version of this Munich-bred sports car, they also benefit from a keen deal that sees well over £4,000 worth of additional equipment included for only £1,000 on top of the standard M3 Coupé and Convertible list price."

I'd say the price isn't that silly.

I didn't other reading that part.. But knowing bmw uk I wouldn't be surprised if they put a hefty premium on them. Nice car but it's not like the gtr or csl edition and I bet you it's not quicker than mine or anything ultra special, it looks the same, I know there's some interior tweaks and reckon it has the horrendous stop start! To me it's just a individual with special paint and different seats, as for grills and stuff, BMW offer those as a choice to chrome as I went for those on mine as can't stand chrome on my cars.
Will have to go look at one when it's out!

You sure it's not £1000 more than the Munich version which is 5k more than standard m3?

I have no idea about the price thing, I just saw it in the article. I assumed the article meant it was 1,000 more than a standard M3, but I'm not positive. I agree that it just adds cosmetic stuff. I can't say that I'd pay extra for those kind of mods, as it's performance is the same as a standard M3.

Think my dealership has a m cars event soon so hopefully I'll get to have a look or go for a test drive and see the difference. Ive had my m3 for 2 1/2 years now and have been thinking of changing for the new m5 anyways as need a bigger car now and more power :)
