Not much to add to this discussion but i do find the advertisement at the bottom of the screenshot kind of ironic.

not even Sig?

I only like a couple sigs, but read the reviews, they have a ton of quality control issues. Hk is the Rolex of guns    Sig could be Breitling, cool to look at but lousy resale value 8) 8)

I have a Rottweiler, German Shepherd, and a Pitbull - No need for a gun.

Wow, I was just thinking about posting a thread on other hobbies (mine happen to be firearms), and they happen to have a weapons thread. I started shooting/collecting back in 2008 (not that long ago) while I was still in college. My collection has built up some, and I have acquired some very nice guns and built a few myself. Most of my pistols are HK and are ALL threaded, and I have short barrel, rifles in the AR platform in .556, 9mm, .22lr, 300 blk and soon to have a 308 in the collection. I also have suppressors in 9mm, 45, 22, and .556 and have a 30 cal suppressor on order. Any other enthusiasts out there?

I agree, I'm selling my USP 45 full size b/c I just bought another USP tactical to replace it. I want ALL my HK's to be threaded now.

Thanks, I have quite a few guns, I haven't counted them lately, but I would say close to 40. Most of my pistols are HK's or 1911's, and most of my rifles are noveske.

You must live in a free state... in California probably 90% of the guns you have are :nono: here... :(

Nice collection by the way...

Most of my carry pieces are Glocks. My dad is a 1911 man. My ARs are ones that I have built. I like Savage (Accu trigger) for precision and hunting rifles.

Well, that is of course an interesting discussion.

First I have to say, that here in Austria, You have rather tight rules for firearms. Hunters are allowed rifles, and "endangered persons" are allowed to carry sidearms under certain conditions. Gunsport is allowed with a lot of restrictions.

As AD, I would have the legal opportunity to apply succesfully for a license to wear a gun. I have served in the austrian military and have training on a few weapons:

9mm Glock
5,56 mm Steyr STG77 assaultgun
7,62 mm MG74 machinegun
12,7mm M1 heavy machinegun
35mm Oerlikon twin AA

But, as I have a 6 year old son at home, who happens to be a terrorist, I will not have a firearm at home, which is more dangerous than a gun used for paintball. I know, that there is a risk, that he might get the weapon into his hands, and I don't trust him any further whith those things, than I can throw him, and he is increasing in weight...

That might be overkill for the urban jungle Thomas - and maybe a bit heavy to haul around

Mind you, turkey season would be easier..........

And I just looked around in my safes, I'm pretty sure the count has gone over 40 now... I didn't even realize it, b/c there's soo many that I haven't shot in a long time. I'm about to just consolidate, keep the ones I shoot best, and ones that have sentimental value, and sell the rest.
