Man, I hope Apple will remain the same with out him. Last time with out him didn't work out so well for Apple.

In the mean time I can't wait for the iPhone 5.

yeah this will be interesting to see how the future of Apple will be...

Jobs practically turned a dying company around...

Last time was very different. Things have changed so much for Apple. They didn't have the talent that they have now working behind the scenes when Steve left in the 80s.

Their product roadmap is well planned out for years to come and they will continue to be very successful, but it will be interesting to see how they innovate and come up with new ideas 5 or 10 years from now.

Mr Jobs has certainly been the creative driving force behind so many of their products. Hopefully he'll be in the background giving advice and helping out when he can for as long as possible.

I've only just joined the Apple fan club in the last year: have an Air and iPhone. I'm sold, can't see myself going back.

Just saw this photo posted on TRF. Tmz says it was taken 2 days after he stepped down as CEO. The poor guy isn't looking so good.

I saw that also, do you think it's really him? Very sad if that's the case (regardless, even if not him, I feel bad for whoever it is)

There are some reports that the TMZ photo is a fake - http://www.allthatisapple.com/2011/08/t ... is-a-fake/

It's pretty disgusting when photos like this are circulating, fake or not.
