Ok, so i just got a new Mac Air, representing the shift from PC to Mac. All good except that i don't seem to be able to open the Breitling Web page in Safari. All i get is a black screen. I can't find any other page that won't open; just Breitling. Any of you Mac gurus out there able to explain it?
Greg

What are your thoughts on the Macbook Air vs Pro? I am also looking to make a switch to the Mac am looking at the 13" model of these.

I don't do a lot of work on my personal computer, so the lighter air would be nice for web browsing, music, and movies on my lap. However, this will be my primary computer, so I worry about performance issues as a main computer.

Yeah, i was tossing up between the Air and the Pro. I got the 13 inch (11 just seemed too small). A couple of things swayed it for me.
1. I didn't pay for the computer; work did. So price wasn't an issue. It also meant that i was happy to pick up the external optical drive (the air has none).
2. I carry my computer around a lot so lightness has more sway than it otherwise might.
3. The flash drive in the air means that its quicker.
4. When i asked the sales guy when i'd regret buying the air, he said if i did a lot of video editing etc. I never do that; much more office stuff. He said the air would be fine.
5. The air is just a bit sexier.

After a couple of days it seems fine. Still getting used to some of the Mac specific stuff (like keyboard tricks etc).

I bought my wife a pro a couple of years ago. We also looked at the air, but found out that the pro was better for us. Primarily, the 2 main reasons were the memory that was available and connection to an external projector.

Yeah, the air is kinda spartan. Since work was paying i got the maximum processor speed and memory. They've also added a port on the new model for an external projector, thankfully.
