Roff, how far away is your closest neighbor?

In that direction we don't have any - there are a few cottages on the lake road, which is about a mile away, but that's it. In the other direction they are 100 acre lots shaped 5/8 mile by 1/4 mile (1,000m x 400m) so the neighbour is 1/4 mile away.

Hey Altair - all that white stuff on the ground - it's called "snow", and believe it or not it's made of frozen water. :poke:

You know all kidding aside, and as shocking this must be to Westerners, it actually snows all the time in Saudi....about two months a year......

Some snowy areas in the higher ground in the south of Saudi, but a good portion of the snow also in the fairly average north. None in central though, but some hail as always even in the central area.

Sorry to hijack your excellent thread Roff!!

Hey Altair, do you know what's the music playing in that video? It certainly looks like a Greek folk music called "tsifteteli". It's specially suited for ladies table-dance.
